How important is spirit bond in the 600 smite team? Wondering if anyone can still do the UW 2 monk team with out it and/or what to replace it with?

Spirit bond is the staple of 600/smite team, afaik you can't replace it with any other skill to have the same effect.

I don't know if 55ing UW still works, but you might be able to do it with a 55 and SS necro if you're unable to 600/smite.

Uh you could 55 with mares in uw idk why you linked that. You can have the skele's view obstructed while ss on them and they will die. I don't know if that is actually possible but there skills are considered bow attacks so they are avoidable.

Dying nightmares have been around forever and 55 was possible. :P Sorry I haven't paid attention to dhuum.

Thanks for the responses and I understand now bit on the spirit bond build. I still have my 55 monk but soling UW was so slow with the dying nightmares back when I last played GW. I'm sure I can still solo it and just farm smites but I have a RL friend that I want to try and some 2mans now. So pretty much 600 monk is they only way now? You guys have any other suggestions on another 2man builds? Im not really looking for full clear but more of a limited rinse and repeat run.

Make sure you read the "Skeleton of Dhuum" page carefully. Their attacks are not affected by PS. They will one-hit you as a 55.
